Social Work Intern (Diani, Kenya)
June-November 2021
Global Trauma Project is a dynamic, growing organization dedicated to strengthening resilience and reducing the negative impacts of stress, adversity, trauma, and oppression. We support community-centered healing, empowerment, and transformation. Our process includes training, mentoring, and certifying local leaders to prevent and address the impacts of complex trauma, compounded stress, childhood adversity, and community violence.
We seek a Social Work Intern to be based in Diani Kenya for a 3-6 month engagement (June – November 2021).

Responsibilities:
As Social Work Intern, under the direction of the Program Manager; you will support the implementation of a Fellowship Program. Key duties include:
- Supporting supervision of Fellows, both in person and in the field
- Attend participants' community workshops
- Ensure proper Monitoring &Evaluation including collection of data for fellows and participants
- Assist in the preparation of monthly activity reports and weekly progress reports.
